AESS 2026 Conference Registration
The 2026 conference registration includes the following:
- All scheduled sessions June 15-16
- Full access to the event portal upon registration
- Tech cafe prior to event
- AESS Awards and Business Meeting
- In-app messaging to other attendees
- Access to slides, presentations, and documents provided by presenters
- Recorded keynote speeches; session recordings
- Post-event portal access to continue conversations and wrap-up
The AESS 2026 event is being delivered in virtual format only. We use the PheedLoop virtual event platform with live conferencing through Zoom rooms (private, linked inside the event portal).
We do encourage geographic meet-ups if folks are near to one another. However, AESS will host an in-person, multi-day conference in 2027.

Joining us for AESS 2026?
We look forward to connecting with you at the 2026 conference. Registration rates are detailed on our event registration platform.
All presenters, speakers, sponsors and general attendees are expected to register. There are limited slots to volunteer in exchange for a reduced/free registration rate, and preference will go to AESS members and presenters.
If you’ll be joining us, we suggest the following:
- Make sure you have the latest updates for Zoom installed – our platform will utilize Zoom in browser for all sessions
- Make sure your browser of choice is fully updated
- If you are presenting – be sure to enable browser permissions like sharing screen, mic, camera in advance
- Log in to the virtual event portal, and become familiar with using it
- Mark sessions (in the portal) that you want to attend
- Enable push notifications so you don’t miss important info (we will not spam you!)
- Utilize the chat features to interact with other presenters and attendees
- Get pumped to collaborate with enviro science, studies colleagues and peers
Terms and Conditions
The Association for Environmental Studies and Sciences is committed to providing a professional, safe, productive and welcoming environment for all meeting participants. By purchasing a conference ticket or any other ticket provided on this site, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
Content Presented at AESS Conferences: AESS will not actively record presentations or share presentation recordings without prior consent of speakers. Keynote session will be recorded and shared on the AESS YouTube channel post-event.
Registration Fees: ALL conference participants must register and pay the advertised fee including discussion leaders; presenters; chairs; co-chairs; topic and session organizers, sponsors, exhibitors and general attendees.
Code of Conduct: ALL conference participants agree to abide by the AESS Conference Code of Conduct.
Refunds/Cancellation Fee: Requests for conference registration fee refunds must be received by May 23. Refunds will be processed in the following way: 72 hours after registering, 100%. Through May 1, 75%. Between May 2-23, 50%. All registration fees are nonrefundable after May 23, 2026.
Transfers: Attendee substitutions are allowed, but they must be submitted in writing to events@aessonline.org. The substitute must be equal or less or additional registration fees may be needed. No refunds will be given for transfers to lower registration tiers.
Photographs/Video/Audio Recordings: Participants are prohibited from recording presentations in their entirety with the intent to distribute to others. The use of personal smart phones, cameras or video devices should be limited to recording snapshots or snippets for personal use, such as taking screenshots throughout the conference to support AESS’s efforts to convey the excitement of the event through posting on social media.
Limitation of Liability: You agree to release and hold harmless AESS from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action arising out of or relating to your participation in this event.
